In the heart of Southern Africa, where the mighty Zambezi River carves a natural border between Zimbabwe and Zambia, a vibrant artistic connection has flourished for generations. This is the story of how two nations, bound by geography and history, have woven a rich tapestry of shared creativity. This has also been strengthened by the attendance of Zimbabwean officials at the Creative Industries Business Summit held from 25 to 27 June 2025, at Mulungushi International Conference Centre in Lusaka, Zambia. The event is ran under the theme ” Unlocking Africa’s Creative Potentials: Awakening the Economic Giant.” Acting Chief Director in the Ministry of Sport, Recreation, Arts and Culture, Dr Samwanda and Director Arts Development and Promotion at the National Arts Council of Zimbabwe, Mrs Barbara Gotore, were among the invited guests.
